One of the main reasons that many Americans who took part in a recent shopping survey gave when they were asked about why they prefer online shopping to physical shopping is that when you’re buying on a computer, you don’t have to worry about fighting to get through the traffic, then searching for a parking spot whenever you finally get to your destination. Simply clicking through web-pages is a much simpler solution than dealing with jostling, overly frustrated crowds of hyperactive shoppers, and you don’t have to pay for parking either!

Missing the Crowds

None of us really enjoy being trapped in a throng of people when we’re out browsing the shelves for a new dress or pair of shoes, and this is reflected in our opinion of online shopping. Forty-nine percent of people think that online shopping is a far more convenient way of getting the things that you need without having to deal with the huge hordes of people getting in your way and shoving past you on the way to the checkout. With online shopping, you can keep your slippers on and stay sitting in the comfort of your own home.

More Merchandise to Browse Through

When you’re looking for goods online, you will usually find that there is a lot more to choose from than the items you would typically see in stores. This is because in a physical shop, owners have to deal with the restriction of limited shelf space, whereas on a website, all you need is the page space to load up a picture and product description.
